Plumbing marketing for independent shops
Two kinds of plumbing calls, one search to start both
Some plumbing calls are emergencies. A drain backs up on a Sunday or a pipe starts spraying under the sink, and the homeowner calls the first shop that looks safe and answers.
Others are planned. A homeowner whose water heater is 14 years old starts reading about tank and tankless options a week before calling anyone.
Both start with a search. If your shop is hard to find, hard to reach from a phone or quiet on reviews, those calls go to the shop down the road.
Drains, water heaters and leaks
Drain calls come in fast and often. The homeowner wants someone today, so your Google listing, your phone number and your reviews do most of the selling.
Water heater jobs are bigger tickets. A clear page on water heater repair and replacement in your town, with real photos of your crew's work, gives a careful buyer a reason to call you.
Leaks sit in between. Some are emergencies and some are slow drips the homeowner has ignored for a month. Pages that explain the signs in plain words help both kinds of homeowner.

A free Diagnostic looks at your whole shop and ends with your next step.
What happens on the Diagnostic
- 1
Fill out a short form
It asks about your trade, your trucks and the size of your shop. Rev reads it before you talk, so the call starts with your shop.
- 2
Pick a time
The calendar opens right after you send the form. Choose a time that fits your day.
- 3
Talk it through with Rev
You'll cover four topics: where your business is now, where you want to grow, what's blocking it and the best path forward.
The Diagnostic is free. A full growth plan is a separate, paid project, and you'll see the price before any work starts.
Questions owners ask
Which plumbing jobs should I focus on?
The ones that pay you best and that you want more of. We agree on them during setup. Local Visibility covers up to three key services, like drain cleaning, water heaters and leak repair.
Can you cover plumbing and HVAC?
Yes, on Local Growth, for the same business. Local Visibility focuses on one trade.
Do you run ads for plumbers?
Ad work and ad spend are outside both plans. I can quote ad work separately before any work starts.
Will you work with another plumber in my town?
I name your protected area in writing. While your plan is active, I won't take on another plumbing shop in that area for a monthly plan or a build.
